This update resolves the issue where the computer does not Resume/Suspend correctly after being in Resume/Suspend mode for a long period of time. This usually happens when the battery power is too low.

Important Notes

- It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
Download and Installation Instructions
- Download the N6173148.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
NOTE: The old version of Norton Anti-Virus software may report a bogus virus in this N6173148.EXE file. Please make sure you have the latest Norton Anti-Virus software installed. - Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the N6173148.EXE file to begin the installation.
- Click Unzip to extract the files to the folder C:WINDOWSTEMPN6173148.
- Click OK.
- Click Close.
- Right-click the My computer icon.
- From the drop-down menu, click Properties.
- Click the Device Manager tab.
- Double-click Display Adapter.
- Double-click NeoMagic MagicGraph 128XD.
- Click the Drivers tab.
- Click the Update Driver Button.
- Click Next.
- Select “Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location, so you can select the driver you want”.
- Click Next.
- Click the Have Disk button.
- Click the Browse button.
- Open the C:WINDOWSTEMPN6173148 folder.
- Under File name, select nmgc.inf.
- Click OK.
- Click OK.
NOTE: The NeoMagic MagicGraph 128XD should show up under the Models. - Click OK.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish.
- Click Yes to restart the computer.
