This program will copy the PCGA-DVD51 PC Card driver to the DVD51_98 folder located in the C:WindowsDrivers directory.

Important Notes
- Be sure to connect the supplied AC adapter to the drive before installing the driver.
- During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
- To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
- It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.
Download and Installation Instructions
- Download the SO-R10060102IY03US.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
- Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SO-R10060102IY03US.EXE file to begin the installation.
- At the “Sony PCGA-DVD51 PC Card Driver Fro Windows 98″ box, click Next.
- At the “Sony PCGA-DVD51 PC Card Driver Windows 98 has been successfully copy to C:WINDOWSDRIVERSDVD51_98 folder”, click Finish.
- Insert the PCGA-DVD51 interface PC Card into the PCMCIA slot of the notebook, a message “New hardware found for PCI Mass Storage Device” will appear.
- At the “The wizard search for new drivers for Sony CardBus ATAPI” screen in the New Hardware Wizard box, click Next.
- At the “What do you want Windows to do?” screen, leave the “Search for the best driver for your device (Recommend)” default setting checked, and click Next.
- At the “Window will search for new drivers in its driver database…” screen, uncheck the “Floppy disk drives”, and click the check box for “Specify a location”, the “C:WindowsDriversDVD51_98″ should display on the location box. (If the path does not appear in the location box, click the dropdown arrow, it should appear in the dropdown list), click Next.
- At the “Windows is now ready to install the best driver…” screen, click Next.
- At the “Windows has finished installing the software that your new hardware device requires” screen, click Finished.
The PCGA-DVD51 driver installation is now completed.
